Job Summary:
The Asset Recovery Specialist plays a vital role in the Finance department, responsible for the identification, evaluation, and recovery of assets, ensuring the company's financial stability and minimizing potential losses. This position requires exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, external customers, and legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough investigations and analysis to trace and recover outstanding assets.
2. Utilize various tools and resources to identify potential assets, including but not limited to financial records, legal documentation, databases, and industry contacts.
3. Develop and implement asset recovery strategies to maximize the retrieval of assets.
4. Collaborate with internal departments, such as Legal, Compliance, and Operations, to gather relevant information and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Liaise with external entities, including financial institutions, law enforcement agencies, and legal advisors, to facilitate the recovery process.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of asset recovery initiatives, making recommendations for process improvements where necessary.
7. Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to asset recovery efforts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards throughout the asset recovery process.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to asset recovery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
